Bio
I'm a creative writer in the way that I write. I hold the pen in this unique and creative way you've never seen. The content which I write... well, it's still to be determined if that's any good.

A Map to Success. Top Story - December 2025.
When it comes to getting published as a writer and for it to really make a difference for your career, it’s tough. But I had sat back in reflection for a while and did some high-to-medium-quality thinking. I had a theory, a whole big plan… a manifesto? I had to look up the definition to be certain. Sort of? I detailed a lot of it here if you’re interested in the long explanation.

Published on Halloween!. Top Story - November 2025.
Submitting to publications is grueling enough as it is, it's chalk-filled with disappointment all on its own, you don't need to be adding your own self-inflicted wounds to the party. A writer can run out of body parts to absorb these blows.

Enter Through the Book Shop
I’d been published, or had upcoming stories to be published, 11 different times. I was already so happy about this. Add on to that, my two most recent accomplishments, getting published in Cosmic Crime Stories and Adelaide Literary Magazine, were the biggest publications that I’d gotten published in thus far.

STILL Early September: 12 Goals Accomplished
I listed many different kinds of goals for myself in 2025. Some goals I knew I’d get done and others I felt fairly confident that I’d get them done. Both of those kinds of goals were 100% reliant on me doing them, though. Then, I had the Maybe Goals, they were not entirely in my hands, so I couldn’t say for certain that I’d get them done.

Early August: 10 Goals Accomplished . Top Story - August 2025.
Another one of my 2025 writing goals accomplished, and this one is amazing for a couple reasons. The first being that I got a story published in a publication, something I am always striving for. This is my 10th story to get into a publication, the 6th different publication I’ve gotten into. 10 stories feels like an amazing milestone. Sure, largely 10 is an arbitrary number. But it’s double digits. That feels incredible.

Mid July: Nine Goals Accomplished
Earlier this year I finished my 1st draft of a script, “The Mermaid Outside the Window.” I knew I needed to come back to it to make some edits, but that I had to take time off from it to gain perspective. How better to do that then go work on the 1st draft of some other script idea? I came back to this, reread, took notes, made edits, and completed the next draft! Nine goals down!

What If I Were to Tell You About a Place I'd Been Published?. Top Story - June 2025.
What if I were to say to you that I’ve been published in The Cincinnati Review? Or what if I told you that I had been published in The Yale Review? Sounds incredible, right?

Weight A Minute
People often talk about wanting to lose weight and struggling with it. I don’t say this to sound like some jerk trying to rub it in their faces, but I accidentally lost weight. However, I felt the same as people who accidentally gain weight; it was the opposite of what I would’ve liked to have happened, and then was faced with having to take action to change my weight. My goal was to go the opposite direction that most people aim for, but it was still difficult.
