summer is over

autumn on the horizon

you said

where the ice cream is sold

there is the most

traffic congestion

but that means

that our job

is overloaded too

as in these

hot spots

from summer view

turned into a fall

when I came across

you in full sun

now obscured by leaves

there are so many of them here

I can lie on them like in bed

prostrate with fear

that no one will find me here

but I know you will always do

catch my hand to lead me out of the darkest hues –

reflection

of my own perpetrators

leavin’ only dark patches

on my floor

which I have to tessellate

tiresomely too

and that neat mosaic pattern

fits the purpose of my deeds

this is a portraiture

of everythin' that mattered and still does

even though no one

ever wanted to listen to me

I have so much to say as this

is my bread

comfortable as it gets
