General Hospital Leak Suggests a Shocking New Romance

Is a shocking new romance on the horizon?

Belinda from Soap Dirt has revealed that an unlikely romance might develop on General Hospital between Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampragna).

This sounds like wild speculation, but stranger things have happened in Port Charles. These two are not currently fans of one another, but they have a common denominator in their love for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). 

Can leakers be trusted?

Allegedly, a trusted GH source with credibility has leaked this information. Please keep in mind that a "leak" is not a spoiler; however, other recent leaks were accurate, so the chances are this one is as well.

If these two get together, it will shock all of Port Charles, but probably be out of desperation. Britt and Dante's dynamic does not suggest staying power, but time will tell if the leak is accurate.

Does Britt recall recent events?

Many GH fans were thinking Dante and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) might start dating, but she is committed to Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), who other viewers thought might rekindle a romance with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Britt appeared unconscious when Rocco shot Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). All she recalls is that he caused her to fall and hit her head, and later, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) asked her to tell the police that he shot Cullum in the back.

It did not appear that Britt knew that Rocco was on the pier, but in flashbacks, she might remember that he shot the WSB agent. Jason could say he shot Collum to keep him from killing Britt, but it does not look as if this will be the way the storyline is going.

How could such a romance unfold?

The line of thinking is that Jason will fill Britt in on the truth and that she might later tell Dante. For now, Jason, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins), and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) have decided to keep Dante out of the loop because it would be a conflict of interest.

The Port Charles Police Commissioner's son shooting a WSB agent in the back would be pretty shocking. Secrets have a way of coming to light, and with Burton leaving the soap for six months, everyone believes he will be in jail.

Six months is a short stint for shooting ( and possibly killing) a WSB agent, so something will happen to bring Jason back to town. In the meantime, it's being suggested that Dante and Britt will grow closer as they attempt to protect Rocco.

Lulu has continued to say that Britt would cause her son harm, and now that association has resulted in a shooting involving her son. Still, she can't say much if Dante and Britt catch feelings for one another because she is dating Nathan, who was married to her best friend, Maxie Jones ( Kirsten Storms).

All things are possible

GH fans agree that Cullum is the worst character ever and want him gone. Hawkes has stated that he will be around Port Charles for a while, so it's not clear if hsi character will die now.

If Britt recalls the shooting or Jason fills her in, she will be filled with remorse. Dante might even initially blame her for putting his son in danger if he learns the truth. Could Britt and Dante really get past their sordid history with the embryo switch, and what happens when Jason returns to Port Charles?
