Winter Solstice Fun
The Winter Solstice is one of my favorite holidays. There are so many things that we do to prepare for it. First, we get the tree out of the space that it was left in. Sometimes it was in the attic. Or in the basement when we used to live in a house. When we were living in a trailer it was in a closet. I missed the days that we had our tree in the closet. It made it so much easier to get out.

Everything Will Be Alright. Top Story - October 2025.
It was difficult to go back into that room. My son had passed three Halloweens ago and I kept his room shut since then. But I had to. To put his things away for now at least. Thank goodness he has no pets in his room. No goldfish or other such animals that would require my rescue. That would have been…that wouldn’t have been easy.

Nostalgia Trick-or-Treat
Halloween has been a holiday that I’ve loved since I was a kid. The holiday itself meant that I could dress up in anything that I loved. Any mythical creature or T.V show character that I adored. Keyhole Peeking. Top Story - October 2025. Content Warning.
Looking through a keyhole isn’t as cool as it looks in the movies. Right now, I’m looking through the keyhole of my neighbor’s room. Normally I wouldn’t be doing this. Since it really violates other people’s privacy. But an hour ago I heard something from the room. At first it wasn’t all that loud. Sounded like soft sobbing. It’s almost as if someone was trying to not be heard crying.

Between Two Worlds
Last week I bought this mirror at a garage sale. It was only two dollars. And since I have gotten it, I’ve deeply regretted it. Since I’ve put it up in my bedroom it hasn’t shown me my actual reflection. This has only shown me a different version of myself each time I look into it.
