The Lights
Felicia was walking home from studying at her best friend Bridgitte’s house. It was only 7:30, but it had gotten dark earlier, so it seemed later than it was. Gallow's Road. Content Warning.
Strange things happen on Gallow’s Road on Halloween night but throw in a blue moon, and things get monstrously evil quickly. On an average night, people driving along had reported their vehicles dying and a strange tapping on the roof of their cars. But on a blue moon Halloween night, the area locals avoided the road at all costs, and the following day, the locals would find travelers dead, hanging from the trees above their stalled cars.

The Face. Content Warning.
Darius felt like he was going crazy. He’d been painting for four days. The same face, over and over. Different poses, different settings, but always the same face. Huge wrinkled forehead, narrow chin, kissable lips, perfect nose. It was an alien look but beautiful all the same.
