Stirring, Still Crazy, but Stirring
I cannot wait to get started with classes again. I've felt particularly directionless this week, but have been trying to get over the hump by doing minor tasks to break up the monotony. In the words of Brian Murphy in Crown of Candy: "Yes! Busywork!

Busy, busy, busy
Busy week! But Monday and Tuesday were quite chill it was only around Wednesday that things got busy. On Wednesday my wife came up to do some studying and we filled out some application forms so that she can come take classes at the university next semester.

Oh! It's Burnout ...
This week absolutely sucked. I felt tired, more than tired I felt exhausted, I felt grumpy, I felt stressed, I felt incompetent, I felt lazy, I felt like nothing was going right? I felt like I had so much to do but that I wasn't doing any good at them.

I <3 Irasutoya
If you live in Japan, you've seen Irasutoya images everywhere. It's on posters, it's on flyers, it's on internet adverts, it's truly everywhere. It's Been ... A Week?
Not a lot to talk about this week. Perhaps I should make a list of ideas for "filler" material I can talk about for when this happens. I'm already thinking of doing a few more video game blog posts, which is the whole reason I started writing here.

February Begins
White rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits. It’s February, the worst month! I never know what to do in February, it suddenly hits that we’re a month into the new year and the belief that I have plenty of time to accomplish whatever it is I want to do this year evaporates into thin air. I respond in two ways, procrastinating or working on random little tasks. We had entrance examinations on Monday, so while I still went into work we didn’t have any exams to do, but I got everything prepped for the rest of the week. That means tests, exams and presentation grading!

31 Years
Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeee! Monday birthdays are the worst. I mentioned last week that we’d got Indian food the night before precisely because I was so busy on Monday. I had two classes, then prepping my syllabi and then preparing game and presentation materials for Tuesday.

The Feel of Nagasaki
My sleep schedule is fixed! I went to bed at 23:00 on Sunday and woke up at 7:00 rested and energised. Unfortunately, I had a little cat sleeping on me who refused to be moved meaning I still had to lie in bed for half an hour until she allowed me to get up to shower.
