Hiding Spots
The rain pelt down and a woman is about to run down her fifth alleyway. She is scanning for a place to hide from her pursuer. Her heartbeat is filling her head. Her panic is coupled with exasperation and annoyance. She thinks, goddam, the movies make it look so easy. Where the hell are all those great hiding spots that villains somehow always overlook? Apparently real life doesn't house large trash cans or cardboard boxes to hide in or behind.

Take Two
We closed the doors of the office building. And my brain remembers that we had a wild ride. I didn’t think starting a company with my best friend would result in losing it and our relationship. It was starting off with a bang. I was getting investors with my short skirts, friendly smiles, and appealing pitches. He was working on developing the products. The celebration sex was phenomenal then there were the long days and hours of working on keeping the business going.

Gone Boy
Orange, reds, and yellows seeped through the office windows and filled the room up. While memories of your tangerine shirt still linger on and I imagine your scent is here if I had any sense of smell. And I wonder if I fell asleep after a long day at the office.
