Oh, black beating heart Whom I serve day and night How do I appease you? Is there an answer in sight? Your depths are bottomless
Sleepless eyes, blood-shot Scanning the black horizon For beasts that haunt dreams
The thick dark haunts me But the light of tomorrow Disarms it’s horror
