When The Story Pivots and Changes
My writing journey has been a bit of a roller coaster. I don't have any accolades to claim, though if I actually attempted to get serious about writing contests and submitting my work, I could change that. After I finished my rewrite and recording of the audiobook of "Memoirs of the In-Between" I decided that I needed to decide what to do next.

Seriously, I wish I were one of those moms who got up and made breakfast every day. But I'm not a morning person. Between insomnia and my children inheriting the chronic nightmare gene, I don't get a lot of sleep at night. Once the wee hours of the morning hit, I finally get to take a proper rest, mostly because my kids are in school and my husband is wonderful.

Unhinged Healing - Raw Poetry For The Abused
The book that was never meant to be. In a moment of discontentment and boredom, I began to gather my poetry that was scattered across writing platforms, old journals, and forgotten documents on my Google Drive to bring some sort of organization to my writing portfolio. I realized I had a lot more poems than I thought I did. It was a joke at first. I said to my family, "Man. I didn't realize I had this many poems written. I could make a book of them." When my husband suggested actually making a poetry book to add to my portfolio with them, I almost automatically responded with: "Because I am no Poe or Emily Dickinson. No one wants to read my trash poems."

I am brutally honest with my opinion, and many people hate me for it. I am unapologetic when people who claim to be "Conservative Feminists" are offended when I say: "Conservatism and Feminism directly contradict each other; conservative feminism does not exist. You're not a feminist, you're a Radical Conservative." It's at that point civility dissolves from the other party, and they start calling me names or defending themselves instead of saying, "Excuse me? Explain yourself."

Memoirs Of the In-Between Audiobook Pre-Order Available!
It's just 4 days before the official release date. Not a lot of time to stack up pre-orders, but honestly, I am just relieved that Barnes and Noble, Chirp, and the other platforms that have finally started posting my audiobook got it out in time for the announced release date.
