So, my Vocal merch came in.... Top Story - July 2023.
I ordered the exclusive, $1,000,000, Vocal Top Story Shirt from the merch store. While I was gone on vacation, it came in the mail. Vocal, I love you, but I have to be honest in this review... I love the shirt too.

Flight
Mom and Dad left. So did all of my siblings, and I'm stuck here, all alone, with nowhere to go. I'm getting hungry, and I know I need to act fast, but the ground is so far beneath me. All I know is the basket I was born in. Home is the familiar feel of the twigs, leaves, and grass beneath my feet. I don't know what's out there in the Great Green Beyond, and I don't know if I want to know.

Portals
On May 18th, 1990, I walked into the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum with my brother. We dressed up like cops, and no one thought anything of it. Little did they know, we were about to pull off the biggest art heist in history. Our loot consisted of 13 artworks, valued at half a billion United States dollars.

One Last Time. Content Warning.
I hadn’t entered the room since the night that it happened. How could I? Everything about her space remained the same. Frozen in time. I was afraid to face it. Afraid of the day we may move away from this house, and everything she’s ever touched will be lost forever. But tonight, I swallowed my heart and reached for the knob. The white wooden door was covered with posters of her favorite tv shows and musical artists. On top of the collage a sign that said “DO NOT ENTER” was nailed into the wood. Too Bad, Abby. I’m entering.

Is Flying Really The Safest Mode Of Transportation?
I have to fly tomorrow, and I'm terrified. I really don't like it. I don't enjoy the "full" feeling that builds in my head during take-off. The whole experience makes me lightheaded and nauseous. However, flying is a necessary "evil," for it's much easier to endure 2 hours in a plane than drive 12-14 hours on American highways. I figured, what better way to ease my mind than to write an article about the safety (or lack thereof (more to be determined)) of flying?
