Countdown to Destruction?

Trump's Deadline Approaches.

Tehran Infrastructure.

The hours are counting down when Trump must deliver on his expletive and extremist statement of destroying Iran's infrastructure and sending it back to the Stone Age. This statement expresses anger and frustration. Despite everything that the US and Israel have dropped on Iran, the Islamic Republic has not buckled. It has hit back at US bases in Gulf countries and Israel. Iran has not acquiesced to an American ceasefire and is only allowing vessels through the Strait of Hormuz that are not attacking it.

The deadline for Iran to agree to the American ceasefire and/or unblock the Straits of Hormuz (from a Western perception) ends on 0.00 GMT or 20.00 hours Washington DC time. Israel has warned commuters in Iran to stay away from Iran's railway system, so does that prove the Israelis know something? Does that mean Trump will make good (good?) on his threats of annihilating or "decimating" in his words Iran's bridges, power stations, roads, railway systems, etc?

Or will TACO (somebody please enlighten me why Trump has this meme?) extend the deadline? Trump is walking a tightrope because now that he has threatened to deliver carnage on Iran, should they not agree to his demands, he will have to deliver on it. Or, as he said, he may extend the deadline. Bombing infrastructure that affects ordinary Iranians is a war crime. But war crimes may have already been committed. Schools, universities, and places that have no military significance (as far as is known) have been attacked by the Israelis and the Americans. Trump has stated that if the attacks go ahead, "very little is off limits".

Since this illegal and unnecessary war began, Trump has continually threatened this, that, and the other. However, according to Sky News' analysis, never has he delivered such an extreme and expletive-driven statement. The fact that he swore shows that, as I have said, Trump's mind is not in a good state. Trump thought this war would be over, but instead, despite everything thrown at it, the death of the Ayatollah and top leaders, Iran still stands strong. And this is not an endorsement of this regime either. I am simply saying that even Iranians who hate this regime have rallied around the flag, as it were, as they have seen their country destroyed.

Trump, it could be argued, is following Israel's trajectory for this Iran War. Netanyahu is not bothered if this war or any war continues. He knows that as long as war continues, he can stay in power indefinitely. He can fulfil his fascist buddies' dream of a Greater Israel, whether he personally believes in it or not. Whereas for Trump, the midterm elections are coming up. Trump's popularity in the US, even amongst many of his "MAGA" supporters, is dropping. According to some polls, his popularity has dropped to 36%. Is Trump even bothered by this? If the Democrats gain more power, this could put Trump at a disadvantage. He will not be able to get policies passed, which could, in theory, lead to his impeachment. So does Trump even care about that? Or is he so locked into this crusade for Israel that he cannot see the reality of these dangers? Is he so locked into this war now that, come hell and high water, he must see this through? Or is he just getting more and more deranged as the war is not going along in the way he'd hoped for? Or are we reading Trump wrong? Many may say that this is a highly unlikely idea, but Trump may know what he is doing, as scary as that sounds.
