Suspended Dawn

Kissing you deeply,

I trace the gentleness of your face,

And map the warmth of your chest,

Lingering on the sculpted strength you hide so shyly.

The morning sun hasn't found us yet,

And the world outside can wait.

I pull you closer, erasing the space between us,

You whisper a quiet sigh,

A silent promise in the dark.
