Thinking about what comes back

Came, is, remains back

Once upon a time gone

Left me in the dark

Leaves me in the dark

Because I can't recall a single thing

That came back to me

Not recently

Not noteworthy

Not that doesn't leave again

Immediately

Like my confidence

When I need it most

Is but a ghost

Telling me what I already know

That I will do it differently

As soon as it is over.

Or perhaps there is something I left

Forgotten to me now

Most likely

And I'm still waiting for its return

Without knowing

Without snowing

Frosted thoughts of frozen time

Frozen in time

For they have not followed alongside

As I do my best

To improve my life

Stream of Consciousness

Since writing this I realised a lot of things have come back recently (pre-warning you that almost none are positive), so more poetry to come :))
