She's No Scarecrow
A Zejel Inspired By A Brilliant Artwork By Carl B Parker, and for the Vocal "Say It Plainly" Challenge

Introduction
Carl B Parker is an amazing artist, husband of the wonderful Misty Rae, and this is another amazing piece by him that spoke to me, with its almost Poe-like darkness.
This is my fifth piece inspired by Carl's work. You can find him on Facebook here:
This is a zejel
The music is "Lady In Black" by Uriah Heep
She's No Scarecrow
🖤🦇🕸️🕷️🔮🕷️🕸️🦇🖤
In Black She Stands Without A Face
She Gave Up On The Human Race
The Crows, Her Friends In This Dark Place
🖤🔮🖤
She Stands Still In The Moonless Night
By Rusted Rails She Has No Sight
She Is Shunned In Her Semi Life
To The Crows, A Queen Of Dark Grace
🖤🔮🖤
Of All Things She's The Living End
In Living Robes, She Does Portend
The Crows Being Her Only Friends
She Offer A Mystic Embrace
🖤🔮🖤
Is She A Witch Or Sorceress?
Those Who See Her, Are So Distressed
The Lady Of The True Darkness
She Is A Vision Now Erased

Love how your poetry compliments the painting 🥰
Love it! And thank you for the shout out. It's been a while since someone has referred to me as "wonderful." 🤣
Great poem, totally relatable to the painting and a new form of poetry that I had not heard of as well? - outstanding Mike.

Fabulous work Mike! 💕
You are so right the image is Poe-like, and your poem is one that is thoughtful and makes one think about who she really is. Good job.
