Potter-a-thon
Blanket
Can I have some warm lemonade?
That someone else made.
A blanket pulled over my prone form,
To keep me warm.
Lunch of a cheese butty and Heinz tomato soup,
The same tomorrow lunch, served on a loop.
My sofa is home to me, a dog and a cat,
I never would have thought of that.
My pillows are plumped,
Against them I'm slumped.
Pressed play on disc one, The Philosophers Stone,
I snuggled down home alone, and released a soft moan.
The familiar scenes and phrases lull me to sleep,
I napped on and off, for Dobby I weep.
When the last disc was played.
My recovery was made.

March 26,2026 Radio days- along with the great American song book- the great standards. pure music that makes me feel like I’m Ann Margret in “Made in Paris” where she is on the balcony watching the show and states “who needs to drink when I'm drunk enough on life” that’s how I feel, especially when the great American song book is playing. Ann Margret sings an American Standard- More than you know. One of the most beautifully written songs to ME. Back when love was something REAL people carried in their pockets everyday.
