I think, therefore I am?
I think ofttimes too much, yet still persist.
I think it may be best not to think too overmuch, lest I convince myself there is no reason to exist at all.
I think making a decision to exist was the most consequential decision I ever made.
I think that I will never truly know, so thinking will need to suffice for now.
I think some people would appreciate me not existing.
I think not worrying about what some people think is an excellent plan.
I think there is always something about which to think.
I think that I exist.

GRANDMA NELSON
Daddy pulled off the interstate, and I saw the all familiar red barn, and I knew we had arrived at Grandma Nelson's farm. I always had mixed feelings about seeing my Grandmother. It seemed she had as many Grandchildren as the old Mother in the shoe nursery rhyme. I saw her as different, but that is not why I hestiated. The truth be known I always got in trouble at her house, and ended up sitting in the car after I had been scolded.

Totally relatable, especially the thoughts about overthinking! I have nothing but lots of empty alone time in my life so I often get trapped in long cycles of overthinking... just trying to distract my mind.
