Hair that is art!!! Two hours, but after that, it's probably very manageable?

I can’t imagine sitting for two hours! Plus, they would probably give me a headache, but I’ve always loved the look of cornrows!

Thats why, I dont get my hair braided. I cannot seat that long. That is certainly a long moment. I have seen several photos of your hair braided. They all look great. It frame your beautiful face nicely ✨️🏆Congratulations on Making 3rd place on the Leaderboard 2/25/26 🥰❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙

Ha! Yes, it does take time. Nicely done, Tiffa! Believe it or not, I had a full-on fro back in the day and had the 'braids' a lot. I used to like when you take them down and the hair is still wavy until you comb it out. Then, right straight back to a fro 🤣🤩

Interesting choice of subject. How does it feel when they are being braided? I could see this being written from many perspectives.

Cornrows take such patience...and beautiful hair. And the senryu teaches that virtue. Clever, Tiff.

Last week I was in Belize and came across a woman set up in a little tent doing cornrows. She was so amazing and so fast. There was a whole line of women and men waiting for her, but I just stood there for a bit watching her hands fly. It was kind of mesmerizing watching her speed through each head of hair. Great haiku!

  • Very informative, excellent words

A very creative haiku. :D Very nice idea. The haiku is lovely and it's also educational. Because, I had no idea it takes two hours! Perhaps it depends on the length of hair or the amount of hair? I think it's artistic work. I hope you got some tea and biscuits in that time. :D

I did my own braids this week, it was about two hours, not as pretty, but yeah, I did it. it passed muster. So, very happy for your neat and lovely do.

Oh man. My daughter is at the age where she’s starting to ask for braids. Up until now she’d been perfectly happy to just keep her hair short and natural. I’m not looking forward to the bill and I’m definitely not looking forward to waiting fro 2 hours for her braid. But she keeps saying she wants to look like her preschool teacher so I think I’m gonna have to just do it. Solid poem, reminds me of the one time I drove my now ex to a hair appt and she wanted me to sit there and wait for the whole appt. I tried but I just couldn’t tough it out. Left for some food after about 30 minutes in.
