I have thought of this day since I first held my baby boy in my arms. I knew that as much as I loved him, one day another woman would come along and steal his heart. I could not be more happy that the woman ended up being you!

You fit right into our family perfectly and I'm so relieved that you like spending time with us more than your own parents. That means I'll get more time with my future grandbabies.

Speaking of grandbabies, let's wrap up this party so these two can get down to business! Congratulations son!

A/N: Okay, Lana asked for fictitious couples, but I couldn't resist putting down all the things my son is afraid I might say in front of his new in-laws. Truth be told, I have a reputation for saying things out loud most people have enough tact to only think to themselves. It's probably for the best I get them out of my system before the big day.

Well nice one AJ-- Ha ha ha - Your final draft was good luck Brooke, you did the best you could. I am sure your son is a great person, - you raised him after all, and you always told me that after hearing my story, when saying goodbye to your children, you always hugged them twice as hard and twice as long. Put in your real toast that you will be gaining a daughter as well. I always thanked my daughter in-law for giving me my Grandchildren and being the daughter I never had. I wrote an article somewhere - A tribute to Amy. I am sure you feel the same way about Brooke. Nice touch though, and funny. Lana really killed it with this challenge didn't she, people had a good time with it.

Haha! I'd be tempted to say something like this as well 😀

  • Hahahahahahaha you doing this now makes sure the big day is safe 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm a lot like you too. I sometimes have no filter, lol

This was hilarious, AJ. I'm glad you got it out of your system. I wouldn't want to be your son's in-laws listening to this. My toast to my son at his wedding would be even shorter: "I always told you I was raising you for another woman. Kelly, it's your mess to deal with now."
